Diana Fox

Diana was born in Cleveland, Ohio, and went to preschool and summer camp at her local JCC. She is thrilled to be the Head teacher in Classroom 2 this year. She received her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Theater Performance from Lewis & Clark College, and recently completed her Masters degree in Music & Music Education at Columbia University’s Teachers College with a focus in early childhood, as this has been her passion for many years. She has taught early childhood music classes at locations including The Children’s Museum of Manhattan, Third Street Music School, the Rita Gold Center, and Stories Bookshop. She was previously a lead toddler teacher in the JCC Pre-Nursery program and at WBees Forest School in Brooklyn.

A singer, guitar player, and flutist, Diana is in the process of releasing her first album of original music for children. She can’t wait to dance, sing, paint, and play with the wonderful children in the JCC Nursery School this year!
