Lisa loves being part of the Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan community and is excited to join the team at the Saul and Carole Zabar Nursery School. After starting her career in the world of communications, Lisa realized her passion was working with children. Growing up, she spent several summers working at a JCC day camp as a counselor, swim teacher, and lifeguard. Since switching careers, Lisa has spent five years working in an NYC Jewish school as an assistant and head teacher for both Pre-K and kindergarten. She believes there is nothing like seeing the world all over again through the eyes of a child who is just discovering it. She comes to the JCC ready to practice the Reggio Emilia philosophy and to not only teach, but to learn from the children and her surrounding peers.
