Christina was born and raised in Westchester County. She attended Binghamton University, where she earned a B.A. in psychology. Originally wanting to go into the field of school psychology, Christina decided instead to go into early childhood education. She went to graduate school at Fordham University, and graduated with an M.S. in early childhood general and special education. Before joining the JCC Nursery School, she taught preschoolers with special needs for seven years.
