Molly grew up on the Upper West Side and attended Columbia Grammar and Preparatory School from K-12th grade. Though born and raised in Manhattan, she loves nature and all it has to offer. She grew up going to the Catskills and continues to spend lots of time there.
After receiving her BS in Elementary Education at Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY, Molly moved back to teach at a Jewish preschool in lower Manhattan, having worked at their summer camp throughout her college years. Shortly after starting to teach, Molly decided to go back to school to continue her own education. In December 2013, Molly completed a master’s degree in childhood special education at Bank Street College of Education.
Molly recently moved back to New York after almost two years in San Francisco, where she explored the West Coast and taught in a Jewish preschool. Molly has many passions, such as cooking, physical movement, and nature, which she loves to incorporate into her classroom whenever possible.
Molly believes that every child is able to learn in his/her own way. Supporting each child in feeling successful drives Molly each day in the classroom.
